Living and practicing in the super garrison town of Colchester in Essex, alongside my PhD research into veterans with PTSD, has led to me working with a large number of military veterans and their families. I have spent many years working with veteran’s agencies and military charities. The gained experience and awareness of this challenging client group has meant that I am often sought out by members of this group when they are in need of therapy. As a trauma therapist and also the son of a military man I feel I am well experienced working with the unique presentations that ex-military personnel present.
With my diverse psychotherapeutic training I am able to cater for most of my patient’s requirements whether their issues are around trauma, relationships or other issues. If you work for one of the supporting veteran’s agencies or charities and you are looking to place a military veteran into treatment I would be happy to discuss this with you and assess their suitability.
As an EMDR accredited practitioner I am also often asked to work with legal representatives of road traffic accident victims, victims of medical negligence or people who have suffered assaults. I am well versed in writing reports in accordance with the civil procedure rules part 35 for legal presentation. Whether you are part of a case management solutions team, a member of a legal team or the unfortunate victim yourself please feel free to contact me and receive the highest level of professional service.
